SharePoint Online finally get Content Search Webpart

Microsoft have today announced, that SharePoint Online will be updated over the next few days, with some functionality that have been missed by customers since SharePoint Online was upgraded to the “SharePoint 2013 experience”.

It’s the Content Search Webpart – also called CSWP – that you can soon use to create querybased dynamic lists of content. The webpart is a part of the on-premise SharePoint 2013 software, and it’s safe to say that it’s has been something customers have received well. But until now, it was not available in SharePoint Online.
